Contracts suck

Ten pages of a contract and most of it will be completely rewritten by Monday at Noon. IT employers heed this: Don’t try to screw over your employees. Don’t word your contracts in a way that would make it illegal for the person to code HTML for some one else. It’s ludicrous.

I am tempted to open up a contract referal service. Keeping people from getting screwed. Any prospective clients? I’m sure there are

    Hey Joel...I don't mean to push a way to install rails, in this case I was tinyrg to highlight some of the options you have when using rubygems. Your method is no less valid and is another way of skinning the cat, so to speak. Thanks for highlighting another way to do it. Glenn
