Rock star

I just want to be a rock star y’all. Is that too much to ask?

2011 now and Ruby really seems to be on the dcnliee. It only has a marginal presence in the Tiobe list now (1.4%). The biggest supporter of RoR, Twitter, is moving away from it and towards Java. And finally, Netbeans' Ruby support, the supposedly biggest sign of Ruby getting mainstream, isn't very active anymore.Oh, and Ruby still is last on nearly every list that the debian language shootout performance benchmark publishes. So the supposed massive adoption of RoR and the major performance improvements that various exciting sounding projects promissed indeed never happened.
