I opened up for Josh Joplin at IOTA last night. It was a lot of fun. The guy writes great lyrics and puts on a great show. He would tell stories about all sorts of things. (Daniel Miller covers this far better than I could here)
It was interesting to have people actually be very quiet and listen while I played. I’m not used to that at all. I’m used to trying to sing over top of the people blabbing about whatever it is that people blab about when they’re not listening to live music. Like monkeys. Or something.
Anyway, check out Josh’s stuff. Quality fun for the whole family.
