Honor by August Press for Philly Show

Honor by August got a really nice push from The Whit Online, an independent student newspaper at Rowan University.

Pearsall’s vocals are so clear and captivating that you may not know the song but you will find yourself singing along. The harmonies with Athayde are wholesome and together produce a utopian tone. The bass line is strong and sturdy. The drums rock to their own beat, while the two guitars mesh in between.

Well, thanks, even though I’m not on the record because I joined after the recording sessions. But hey, I mesh! Props to Joe Wenger, who did play and sing on the record for actually meshing.

Good hype nevetheless.

Chris, the first version of this post was mdnseaiilg. It implied that the first call to rand set the seed material for subsequent calls. In fact it is only the srand call that does that.My new reading is that if srand is never called, then rand will use current time and process id each time it is called. Essentially, srand is only used in testing situations (where you want to take system time and process id out of the equation and make your pseudorandom sequence predictable). In other words—not our situation.
