Afternoon Snack

  • Almonds
  • Mexican Coke (yup, not paleo)

Paleo day 9: Dinner


  • Tilapia
  • Swiss Chard
  • Cauliflower
  • Sweet potato


  • 2 hours of light gardening

    Charge by what the food costs plus $ 20 an hour to prep and cook the food. I think $ 10 a meal delivered is very cheap-a retnaurast would likely charge $ 15+ for the same sort of specialty item. I would charge something like $ 20 a month per client for weekly delivery of the food (daily delivery would be far more. You have to figure in your time driving, insurance, fuel and wear and tear on the delivery vehicle-this ain't cheap for you). You will need to figure out what the real costs are instead of making an educated guess or else you will likely go into debt fast. Profit = expenses income.With this sort of clientele I would not think cost is a big object to them. I mean, if you have the resources to hire a personal chef you know the food ain't gonna be cheap-this is a real luxury.

    Hi Angela! I use tri ply stainless steel Calphalon pans. I have the 8 in and 10 in oletemte pan which are the ones that do not have the high sides, more of a skillet and then I have the 6 inch saute pan, the one with the higher sides. I use the oletemte pans for everything both to sear and saute and I love my saute pan, the one with the higher sides for sauces, braising, etc. I also have a cast iron wok that I do curries and stir frys in but I bet you can find a stainless steel wok that would work! I just recommend getting a brand that is stainless steel vs. non-stick for health reasons. I hope that helps! : )
