“I would rather die happy than kid myself / I was ‘King of Pain’ for a day”... So Jim Raymond and I did this treatment for Agents of Good Roots. The song is called Radio King. The treatment is a pdf file. Live it. Love it. Download and spread the word. Hells yes.
I went on set for Aquarius on the 4th. The day we’re shooting ends up being extremely warm AND extremely wet. Redesigning the Meticulous sites today. That and working on more design stuff for Aquarius. Thesis Research is almost done, and thesis design is about to begin. God save the Queen.
Well, I’m pretty much done. We presented Screwtape and are now going to re-edit the entire thing because, basically, it is jumpy and not quite up to par thanks to my old capture card, which can’t quite do 640×480 at 30fps… Oops. Studio jury went well so I have freedom there. Yay.
We finished our filming ahead of schedule and have finished the rough cut. We also consumed way too much turkey over Thanksgiving. Wow.
Well, we start filming on Saturday with Ben Taylor as the D.P., Pat playing Wormwood and Jim playing The Patient. Hopefully we’ll finish this weekend.
November 3, 1999 :: Pat Flynn, Jim Raymond, and I finished work on the script for our short last night. Drawn from “The Screwtape Letters” by C.S. Lewis, we’ll post the script here shortly.
Today was an extremly productive day. We have almost finished crewing the movie (Aquarius) and the National Park Service agreed to let us shoot a whole bunch of stuff (difficult in this town). I also uploaded 2 pages from my sketchbook this summer. These are both sketches of the Alhambra in Spain. Look here to see them. I’ve also placed up some production sketches from Aquarius in that section.
the NMD will be making “The Color Of Cool” after all. I need something for a class that has no dialogue and comments on something. So there we go. Script is under the STASH section.
